Zakynthos Beyond the Postcards
Navagio Beach (the Shipwreck) is one of the most photographed locations in Greece — a rusting 1980 freighter stranded in a perfect cove of white pebbles and intensely blue water, accessible only by boat. The commercial boat trips arrive in flotillas; FFGR Greece's private charter has the cove to itself before 9am or after 5pm.
Private Boat Programme
FFGR Greece operates a private caïque and RIB programme from Zakynthos port: the Shipwreck at dawn before tourist boats arrive; the Blue Caves of Cape Skinari (best at midday when the light refracts into electric blue); the Loggerhead sea turtle nesting beaches of Laganas Bay (observation only, strict protocols). Return to your villa for lunch prepared by your private chef.
The Interior
Zakynthos' mountainous interior — olive groves, Byzantine churches, the traditional villages of Keri, Macherado, and Agalas — is completely unknown to package tourists and revealed only by a private driver who knows which lanes to take.
